Hydration for Performance & Recovery
Whether living at altitude or traveling to the Mile High City, elite athletes face unique hydration demands. When performance margins are small, hydration becomes
foundational.
At elevation, lower oxygen availability, dry air, and increased respiration accelerate fluid loss. Combined with intense training loads, competition schedules, and travel, hydration can become a limiting factor in performance, endurance, and recovery—often sooner than expected.
Luxe Water Co. supports elite athletes with intentional, performance-focused hydration—helping the body adapt, endure, and recover in demanding, high-altitude
environments.
Without adequate hydration, well-conditioned athletes often experience:
Faster onset of fatigue
Reduced endurance and stamina
Muscle weakness or cramping
Slower recovery between sessions or competitions
Increased cardiovascular strain during exertion
Symptoms associated with altitude adjustment
When hydration is optimized, athletes are better positioned to train harder, recover more efficiently, and compete at their highest level.
How Hydrogen Water Supports Athletic Performance and Recovery
Hydrogen water has been widely explored in athletic and sports science communities for its role in helping the body function more efficiently under physical and environmental stress.
Using a Japanese-certified medical-grade device, Luxe Water Co. provides pure, molecular hydrogen water that is odorless, tasteless, and easy to consume—supporting consistent hydration before, during, and after exertion.
The molecular hydrogen in the water is small and neutral - penetrating directly through the cell wall making it highly bioavailable.
Molecular hydrogen has more than 3,000 research publications exploring its benefits. For athletes, Kangen Water provides:
Reducing markers of oxidative stress associated with intense training
Efficiently removing metabolic acids resulting in faster recovery times and reduced micro scar tissue and weakness caused by the acids.
Accelerating the elimination of acidic residue, minimizing the risk of injury.
Assisting metabolic efficiency
Increasing ATP production and helps reduce fatigue in athletes
For athletes, this translates to hydration that supports endurance, recovery, and readiness—without stimulants or unnecessary additives.

Testimonials
"The body is made up of 75% water and drinking Kangen Water® is the missing link to overall health and performance for athletes. Bottled water, sodas, and sports drinks are all acidic - even if they are purified - causing the body to be more acidic. Anything acidic is more prone to disease, sickness, and illness.”
